HAY Online Aspire Scholarship Applicant Eligibility Requirement:
Resident of the United States.
Haitian descendant.
Senior year in high school.
GPA information reflecting a 2.5 or greater (i.e. sealed copy transcript or current report card).
SAT Score of at least 1200 (copy of these scores required showing your name on score sheet).
ACT Score of Composite=20 or better,English=20 or better ,Math=20 or better, and optional Writing=7 or better(copy of these scores required showing your name on score sheet).
Prospective student to any state college or university in the U.S. (proof may be required i.e. copy of college acceptance letter if received by deadline of March 15, 2016).
Complete at least 100 total community service hours during senior year.
Applicant must have at least 50 community service hours during senior year through a Haitian Non-Profit (High School or Organization letter Head must show this).
An active member of at least one club at their respective high school (signed letter on organization letter head required stating involvement).
Submit one signed reference of character by a professor or business professional, and one signed reference of character by a community leader of whom must state their title, position and contact email for information follow-up purposes.
Applicant must submit a maximum 500 words essay explaining why they are deserving of the scholarship.
Applicant must submit a minimum 250 words essay explaining what they would do to participate in rebuilding Haiti.
Also agreement to have likeness as part of a video montage celebrating award must be agreed to by way of submitting all documents asked and signed release to do so. (Optional)
