Well, not hard to find many great photography on Haiti. Yet, it is important for us at HAY Online to always set apart as we search and present. One big reason, it helps stand out in a sea of the same old. So to learn of Mr. Leger the other day on Instagram was a breathe of fresh air!

Haiti Visuelle, the Haitian culture end of HAY along with Haitian All-StarZ is always sharing content of people if we were to look up online might not be found. So we are grateful to these pages affiliated with who keep us in the loop with the latest and anyone wanting to learn about "The Real" can follow those profiles. Also, they too are online where it counts today. Our youth also search websites that cater to queries like Google, Yahoo, Bing, and China's Baidu for those business end Haitian ran than get placed.

Above, the Hibiscus, Haiti's National flower was an image of Mr. Nicolas Leger's that caught my eye. It does signify beauty and a great representation of Haiti.

Above, two women from a Department in Jeremie, Haiti called Grand'Anse are walking and looks like they went to the Flea Market (Marche) or going. Either way it is neat to learn of other Haitian Photographers who capture the lives of common folk living life. It does not always have to be glitz and glam or disaster photos, but they better start trickling online in image searches giving credit where credit is due.

As Mr. Douge, the International Haitian Photojournalist was kind to allows us to share, so was Mr. Leger when asked. We do try to keep credits and if told it is an author's work, we will put attributes. One reason we just do not screen grab and share, we want what Melissa P. Bernier, Esq. wants, for artist to get their rightful credit and compensation. The judgement against Getty Images and Agence France Presse for Mr. Morel of the now famous 2010 Haiti Earthquake Photos should sit some down use to just scraping for images found on social media. Getting over a million dollars is great and hope other Manje(Eat) who had their images proliferated too.
